RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
NEW MEMBERS
People who are considering signing up for the Legion should do what they can to get in on pickup raids for their tier 1 and 2 Myth updates and Levi raids for VP access. This isn't to say that we won't help new members acquire these updates but they are not a priority. Our allies, Renaissance run tier 1 and tier 2 RoK zones on Mondays before The Legion raids and I will schedule LoF open raids as time permits.
RAID SCHEDULE
Mondays and Wednesday starting at 6p.m. PST and ending at 9p.m. PST. Raids START at 6pm, which means you need to be available at 5:30p.m. PST for form up. Anyone not in the raid by 5:50p.m. is considered late and is subject to being replaced for the duration of that raid.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT
Must be level 80
Must have AT LEAST 150 AA
Must have your epic
Must have all expansions
Must AT LEAST read the forums on a regular basis
Must have a Manastone
ATTENDANCE
100% raid attendance is required. We raid 2 nights a week but it is your choice to sign up for just one or for both days(these days are chosen when you sign up for The Legion, not on a raid by raid basis). The day you sign up for does not change unless I approve the change. If you miss 2 raids without notice you will be removed from The Legion. If you have to miss a raid you MUST post in the Absent/Late section of our forums. I understand that things come up and that people will miss raids, notification is required. Even with notification if you miss too many raids you will be bumped down to the backup pool.
BACKUP POOL
Backup raiders are required to be available on the days they have signed up for and able to get to the raid zone quickly. To this end backups should be camped either at the raid zone or at their guilds strategist and then play an alt until called upon. Backups won't make it into every raid and, depending on the class, may not get into raids frequently. Backups earn 1/2 DKP for waiting. Backups MUST report in to Fayte/Azraell during raid form up to be eligible for 1/2 DKP.
SPELLS/CAs
All must be of Expert level or higher
AA DISTRIBUTION
AA are to be set to maximize the effectiveness of the raid and the group you are assigned to, no exceptions. I strongly recommend getting an AA mirror to save your raid spec to. www.eq2flames.com is a site written by raiders and contains a wealth of great information about AA setups for all classes. Read this info with an open mind, some of what is suggested doesn't make sense until you see it in action.
ADORNMENTS
All Legion members must adorn everything.
ALTS
Each Legion member is allowed to have up to 2 alts in The Legion. For an alt to be accepted you must be at least close to as good on your alt as you are on your main. If you offer an alt to The Legion that alt becomes a part of our tactical consideration and we may have you bring one of those alts to a raid instead of your main as the zone or mob requires. Alts are subject to all the same rules as mains. These alts must be camped at your guild strategist or at the raid zone if they want loot.
CHAT CHANNEL
The Legion has a chat channel called LEGIONDPS. ALL Legion members must join this channel. Parses will be posted here and, in the event no one in the raid needs a dropped item, loot will be linked here for backups to decide if they want to bid on it. If you are not in this channel and miss out on loot it's your own fault.
LOOT
Fayte/Azraell will decide what classes may bid on each dropped item, in the event of my absence Azizz/Fezzgig is in charge and will make those decisions. All items are bid on using a DKP system. All tradable items that drop and all manas/infusions will be bid on at the end of the raid, no trade items will be bid on immediately.
Legendary Items - bids start at 5 and must increase in multiples of 5
Fabled Items - Bids start at 10 and must increase in multiples of 10
Masters - will always go to who needs them, in the event two people need them they will /ran 1000
In the event that no one in the current raid wants an item, it will be linked in LEGIONDPS and all backups on standby may begin bidding on the item using the rules outlined above. If no backups are interested in the item then it becomes open for alts of the current raid team and bidding takes place as outlined above.
In the event you are asked to play an alt for an entire raid you will bid on items for that alt as if they were your main raider. If you are asked to bring in an alt for a single named you will bid on items for your main raider only. Loot not needed by anyone will be transmuted.
DKP SYSTEM
DKP is earned by attending raids and killing names. The DKP scale is as follows:

VOICE CHAT
You must be able to at least listen to voice chat, being able to speak is optional. If you cannot speak you will need to create a lot of hot keys
LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE and INSTRUCTIONS
The Legion has a leadership structure and you will be getting instructions before and during fights from any one of these leaders. The instructions of a leader higher on the chain always supersede the instructions of leaders at lower levels.
The Legion Leader: Fayte/Azraell
Primary Raid Leader: Azizz/Fezzgig
Group Leaders: Fayte/Azraell, Henshaw, Rodamez, Flamme(mondays), Hurricane(wednesdays)
Special Ops: Banen, Shaike/Justen
During named fights the primary raid leader (azizz/fezzgig) has control of the fight, instructions will come from him. Fayte/Azraell and Enticing will assist Azizz/Fezzgig as necessary. Group leaders are to ensure that their groups are where they need to be, are following instructions and are up and ready to go quickly after a wipe.
Think of The Legion as a guild within our two guilds. I lead it, Azizz/Fezzgig and the group leaders are my junior officers.
Instructions are ALWAYS to be followed to the letter, even if you disagree. Raiding is about the team, not the individual. ONLY a member of the leadership may change strategy mid fight. If something needs to change mid fight you will get the instructions from a member of the leadership. If you have suggestions on how things can be done differently, keep them to yourself until the fight is over and then discuss them in tells with the Raid Leader
PERFORMANCE
Performance is always being monitored and The Legion holds its member to a high standard. Always strive to improve your character, be open to advice and constructive criticism. We are only as strong as the sum of our parts and each of us, not only, needs to be on our A game but constantly improving what that A game is. If you are averaging 2k on the parse don't settle for it, find a way to push it to 3k, when you hit 3k find a way to push it to 4k. We need to be breaking 100k parses as a team. Healers not parsing 1k HPS, find a way to get there. You won't always be required to do so but having the ability puts us at an advantage. People flagged as having a performance issue will be talked to and given ideas on ways to improve and then given a time limit in which to improve. If improvements are not made within that time limit the person in question will be benched(put in the backup pool) and someone in the backup pool will be given a chance to prove themselves.
SUPPLIES
Show up to the raid with 100 of each type of expert cure potion, even healers. These potions can be obtained from your Legion bank.
LEGION BANK
Both guilds have a Legion bank, this is a holding area for supplies, masters and coin that can/will be used by current and future Legion members. If you need something from the Legion bank please see the appropriate person. Supplies in The Legion bank are free to Legion members. Coin in Legion banks should be used by our crafters to create potions for our raiding.
The rules and requirements above are not negotiable, if you choose to apply to this raid force you are agreeing to follow everything above exactly and consistently. Raiding the tough content requires discipline and dedication. Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of deaths and high repair bills. This is not something well suited for the impatient.
